Måndag

Nu tickar klockan verkligen ner!

Jag vaknade och gick upp vid 8 idag och städade hemma och gick till kyrkan kl 9. Tog med mig pennor och limstift till EYMG. Vi var i Abinger kyrka, för Belmont hade någon speciell dag idag. Det kom en del till både första och andra gruppen faktiskt och vi hade jubilee special! Judy (med Charlie, Kitty och Molly) var SÅ TRÖTT på allt som hade med jubileet att göra, men barnen hade roligt! Jag var med båda grupperna idag och vi hade pyssel på mellantiden. De dekorerade 'knickers' och Sam läste en berättelse som heter 'the queens knickers'. Knickers är trosor.

Caroline kom över med mitt TFG-final häfte som jag skulle fylla i inför mötet i eftermiddag med Susann. Jag åkte till Playgroup och fyllde i lite av rapporten för att vara LITE förberedd i alla fall!

Jag gick sedan in 11.30 och var där till 12.15. Genie var där istället för Jane Biggins och to be honest, så gillar jag henne så mycket mer!

Så här skrev Susann i ett mail:

Dear Isabelle,


Thank you again for your time on Monday when I came to visit you. It’s been great to hear that you’ve had a good year and that there’s so much that you’ll be taking “away” with you.


It was great to hear that despite the loneliness and difficulties of the first few weeks you’ve pushed through and learnt a lot, including a better understanding of children’s safety, understanding and appreciating people, grown in taking responsibility for sessions with children, opportunities to compare different styles of working with children to mention but a few. You also spoke about the improved relationship with your father’s wife which is great! Well done for moving out of your comfort zone and going beyond the “stereotypes” to get to know people!


We spoke about your personal development, which means that you now have a much healthier lifestyle and have dropped quite a few “bad” habits. I encouraged you to think about what helped you to grow in your faith this year and to keep implementing/ adding these things to your life.


I’ve had a good conversation with Caroline who said that she’d really seen you come into yourself and flourish during the year. They loved the way you’ve taken the children’s work to heart and developed and set things up! They also appreciated the extra skills/ gifts that you’ve brought, such as designing posters/ flyers etc!


It’s great to hear that you’re able to stay in the UK for a bit longer and I hope that you can sign contracts and get all the fine details sorted before you’re off on your holiday.

Det var ett bra möte, jag sa kanske inte så mycket dock, men bjöd på te i alla fall.

Jag Skypeade med Carrobarro senare och har tänkt mycket på att köpa en Iphone och hon skickade en länk som gjorde att jag nästan tappade hakan och ville ABSOLUT vänta till Oktober med den, dock så sa en annan att den videon bara visade hur det skulle kunna bli i framtiden, men antagligen inte för 5an tyvärr.. Dessutom kommer den nog inte ut i höst heller ens...
